Report Animal Concern

The Ohio State University is strongly committed to the humane care and use of animals. All animals owned or involved in research, testing, or teaching at Ohio State will receive proper care and will be used humanely in accordance with the Public Health Service Policy on the Humane Care and Use of Laboratory Animals, the Animal Welfare Act, and the university’s Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) procedures and guidelines.

Any person who witnesses or suspects abuse of animals at Ohio State is encouraged to report their concerns.

Any person may provide the information anonymously and, to the extent that it is possible, the university will preserve anonymity. It is helpful to have as much information as possible in order to conduct a thorough investigation.
