What does the IACUC require from an investigator if a protocol contains chemical hazards?
If agents being used in an animal study are considered to be chemical hazards, then a letter from EH&S must be submitted to the IACUC Office assuring that an appropriate chemical hygiene plan has been implemented by the Principal Investigator for the specific protocol.
