About ORRP
ORRP Team Mission
- Assist OSU faculty, staff and students seeking required research reviews
- Help OSU review boards apply clear and transparent processes
- Ensure compliance while minimizing administrative burdens
- Foster and provide education on the responsible conduct of research
- Support OSU’s efforts in securing and maintaining accreditation for human subjects and animal research programs
Available Services
- Guidance on meeting regulatory and sponsor requirements
- Collaborative consultation on identifying flexibility within the regulations
- Educational programs focusing on ethical and responsible human and animal research practices
- Protocol Courier Service for researchers submitting materials for IRB, IACUC, and IBC reviews
Hours of Operation
- ORRP staff are available 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday
- The Research Foundation building is open from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday (except University holidays)
- Submissions can be dropped off at any of six campus locations between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm each business day for hand delivery by courier to ORRP - See Protocol Courier Service for locations
